Santitation became aproblem due to the numbers of peole and the waste from the factories. The Victorian ageg saw the building of drainage systems within towns. Unfortuately the towns got bigger and the sytems remained the same. As a result we now have a darinage system unable ,for the most part, to cope with the amount of waste produced.
