But I have no real problem with Oxford and its "intellectual superiority" as at least it gives the city a nice, exclusive identity that can't be imitated anywhere and sets it apart from all the other cities around Britain. Think about it, can you name a single city in Britain (London aside), which could be recognised around the world on simply the way it, and its people look? This "easy to spot" identity, Oxford has, is especially useful if like me, your one of those people who falls asleep travelling in a car, and awakes only to not know which town/city, one is in!
