The houses are built on larger areas of land, where there is room for gardens and parks and other leisure facilities. Stevenage has become quite a large town itself, and there are individual neighbourhoods established in the town. Each has its own schools, both primary and secondary, as well as parks and recreational facilities. There is lots of space here and is considered by many people to be a better environment for children to grow up in, instead of the noisy, polluted and overcrowded surroundings of inner city London. However, some people have criticisms to make against these new towns. They do not think that they have much character and are just rows of identical modern houses, which to a certain extent is true. ...
