There are alternatives for this, adoption, and in vitro fertilization. The public also may say it would be nice for a person to have their own blood related child? Why take this chance. Cloning is not one-hundred percent proven and instead of making a life you might kill a life, or you may have cloned a not so fully functional child. In addition to physical harms, there may be psychological harms on cloned human children. One of those harms could be the loss of identity, or sense of uniqueness and individuality.
