... indeed is a problem because scientists are performing theoretically "illegal" procedures like creating human embryos only to destroy them for research. Also another is the funding and cost of such research and how it will affect the people and their taxes. Not only does it raise legal and financial problems but it also creates moral questions; is the destruction of an embryo considered to be murder? Are embryos even considered to be human? A proposal to their solutions would be to limit federal funding to reduce the amount of money spent from the people's taxes. Restrictions and guidelines need to be made on what kinds of embryos are allowed for stem cell research. The majority of the American population belongs to a religious group whether it's Roman Catholic, Muslim, Protestant, or Judaism. Therefore, it's easily assumed that these people will be persuaded by what their religion thinks of the matter. ...
