Some of the things an anorexic person does to hide the illness are wearing baggy clothes, to cover their skin and bones, or they lie about eating. The person may tell there parents they ate at a friends house or at the mall, but the truth is they haven't ate all day or maybe even all week. Some other important warning signs are significant weight loss, continuing to diet, distorted body image, fear of weight gain and lack of menstrual periods.
