The studies show they actually have a close relationship, working with the activities of the brain. But does this mean emotions only live in the area of private knowledge and is our private knowledge some form of emotion? If, for instance, the first time you go to the beach you have a great fun time. You would then relate great fun to going to the beach. So every time you go to the beach, you would have a happy emotion. Whereas if you have a bad experience at the beach, for example being knocked over by a wave, you would always have that experience in the back of your mind when reminded of the beach. This ...
