This, for me, included learning social skills within my home that have been extremely important in my development. My own microsystems have included home, church, school and family homes, such as grandparents. My immediate family consists of my Mum, Dad and older sister by three years. Being the youngest in my family meant that I had an older sister who would help me learn and develop skills both socially and domestically. While I was around the age of 3, I used to follow Mum around the house while she did the cleaning and would also try help out at her place of work when not at preschool.
