Active Schools Active Schools is the cornerstone of Sport England's commitment to involving more people in more sport, particularly young people. The programme is built around two key elements: the Activemark/Activemark Gold and Sportsmark/Sportsmark Gold awards. These national accreditation schemes recognise a school's commitment to providing a quality programme of physical education and school sport. Active Schools is a crucial tool in Sport England's More People programme.
