Greater kudu can also be found in zoos throughout the world (Estes, 1991). The lesser kudu (Tragelaphus strepsiceros) are found only in northeast Africa. It is a much smaller antelope than the greater kudu. It stands at a height of 90 to 105 cm. and weighs between 60 and 105 kg. Males have horns that range from 48 to 91 cm. long. Males have various shades of gray fur, and females are distinctly more reddish-brown.
