A horse's brain is more than six times larger than that of the much smaller monkey. If the two animals were of the same size, the monkey's brain would be 20 times larger than that of the horse's. Scientists do not consider horses to be exceptionally intelligent animals. It can be seen, therefore, that brain size in relation to body mass can be an indication to intelligence.
