Bourdieu (1986, pp.114) talks at length about cultural capital amongst its other forms: "The primary differences, those which distinguish the major classes of existence, derive from the overall volume of capital, understood as the set of actually usable resources and powers - economic, cultural and social capital. The distribution of the different classes (and class fractions, thus runs from those who are best provided with both economic and cultural capital to those who are most deprived in both respects."
