These corporations not only have offices around the world, but means of production and distribution. However, there is a sharp distinction between the two in terms of how and where goods are produced. These firms are leading the way to total globalization, each with a distinct way of operating. Before globalization can be explained, one must first understand the agreement that halted the process.
