I have looked into three types of business: * Sole trading- the owner of a sole proprietorship business. * Ordinary Partnership- a business organisation which has between 2 and 20 owners, all of whom have unlimited liability. * Franchise- The right given by one business (e.g. Metropolitan Borough Council) to sell goods or services using its name. Although I would benefit greatly from a franchise, as I would gain limited liability, (where shareholders of a company are liable for the debts of a company only up to the value of their shareholders) I would not have the control over my business, as I would like.
