There are several processes that can be adopted to ensure companies are selecting the right person such as varying forms of interviews, psychometric testing and assessments among others. However, these forms of selection tools are dependent on their reliability and validity as to the extent to which they can be of benefit for companies to use. The first section of this paper will look at some of the current tools and trends in selection techniques.
