The diagonal direction of the fox puts the body into perspective immediately. Although the painting directionally balanced on the fox nothing else in the painting has much balance. On the left side seems to be a rock formation with several different structured pieces but on the right there is very little structures to be seen. So is it possible to have a symmetrical piece as well as an asymmetrical one at the same time? The gradation of this piece is in continuous change, starting in the upper left corner and slowly moving diagonally downward. It shows the rocks behind the fox in a dark brown moving towards a plain white sheet of snow. In between are various colors of tan and shadow, from left to right, that stand out. Possibly ...
