... As I am writing about a group of students absorbing the information, I decided to target the same audience - young adults. The viewpoint n my story I from the perspective of a reliable narrator. This was my chosen viewpoint as the narrator would be trusted and perceive any events as facts. The atmosphere in my story is quite tense and creates a sense of anxiety. The story is written in chronological order, as it's a straightforward method and it would allow me to focus on the story line, as well as to determine the readers' understanding. The first line in my story is, 'An aged man, no younger than ninety, stood chuckling in front of a room of students, balancing on a walking stick.' This first line is a complex sentence.
