Listening to a lecture 5% 2. Reading 10% 3. Audio Visual 20% 4. Demonstration 30% 5. Discussion Group 50% 6. Practice by Doing 75% 7. Teaching others or immediate use of learning 90% As you can see from this table of research findings the students at the moment are taught using, only, points 1 and 3 giving a possibility of only 25%, in effect the student has a 25% chance of remembering the lessons most important points.
