Eye contact is a very important factor of interpersonal communication. This is as it helps control the flow of communication. It also signals interest in others. Furthermore, eye contact with audiences increases the speaker's credibility. Teachers who make eye contact open the flow of communication and convey interest, warmth & concern to the pupil. Facial expressions are very powerful. If you smile frequently you will be perceived as more likeable, friendly & approachable.
