They consider a persons homosexual orientation to be a disordered state and that in most cases the orientation itself is not a sin. However, the opinion is held that any act of homosexual nature is condemned and that homosexual activity is morally wrong. In the Roman Catholic view, the sole purpose of sexuality is procreation and that God intended people to have heterosexual relationships.
