After the wedding ceremony had finished, the guests went to the reception for some food and drink, and also for a bit of a party, as the hall that Tony had hired included a Disc Jockey that played into the early hours of the morning. The food at the reception was exquisite, each person had a glass of champagne, salmon in a lemon sauce, chocolate cake and a coffee. When all the food had gone, the band started to play. They mainly played slow songs which would be easy for the people to dance to and that were appropriate for a weeding reception.
