At this time America stood by silent because we had vowed not to join in on another European war. On December 7th, 1941 everything changed because Peal harbor was attacked by the forces of the Empire of Japan. Now at this time America became part of the War in Europe. Now any one can imagine how uptight Americans became all of a sudden because we had just been attacked on our own territory. On that December day all Americans priorities and lives forever changed. Our new focus was conquering those opposing forces outside the U.S. Many decades later we still remember those troops and forces that helped extinguish Nazi Germany.
