God created humanity with true moral autonomy, and has free will, and as free beings we have the choice to commit evil, and thus evil is not at the hands of God, but rather the fault of man. Augustine further argues that evil is the result of man's fall from grace, and humanities relationship with God. God foresaw man's fall from the foundation of the world and planned their redemption through Christ.
