Nevertheless if we were to draw the analogy between designers of the universe and designers of artefacts we might conclude that the universe was made by an assembly team of Gods, as artefacts are usually produced by a group of people. This contradicts the traditional Judeo-Christian idea of there being a single God. Also, organisms and the natural world seem to undergo suffering, pain and eventually death, along with all the other genetic deformalities which can occur. This suggests that the designer was either immoral or not powerful enough to prevent these things, both of which again do not fit in with the traditional idea of God as being all good, loving and powerful.
