Deborah Grey, the Canadian Alliance MP, stated that she thinks this legislation should have passed a very long time ago. While Liberal MP Dennis Mills tells Canada AM that committees get "bogged down" and that is the only reason that this legislation has not been put into effect. The Canadian Government is continuously striving to find efficient ways to ensure the safety of our people, especially our children, this legislation is another method of enhancing our quality of life.
