When we see Joe at the café and then afterwards as death, they are two different souls. When we see Joe at the café, he is talking, and doing the right things. He is talking about life and he knows what to do, as well as knowing what to say. Where as Joe, (Spirit), walks incredibly strangely and at first he really doesn't know what to do and say, after a while he gets used to things.
