Methods used The methods of research that Ann Oakely used consisted of observations and structured interview. Through this process she was able to observe the way the women operated in their household, and the types of task they did. Through semi-structured and structured interviews Oakely was able to question her participants about their roles in their household; she was also able to obtain feed back from the participants about there input about the domestic labour issue. The aim of the research The aim of the research was to investigate women's input on domestic chores in the household.
