... The majority of people I asked did own a car but the opinions of those who don't own cars are still very important as they may be looking to buy within the next year or so. Surprisingly most people said environmental issues ere most important. This may be because modern society has made a demand for more environmentally friendly product especially cars. Alternatively it could just be the individual's view. The nest popular were looks and speed/sports. These options were chosen by the younger people. The majority of people said they wouldn't consider environmental issues such as fuel emission because many went under the view that 'All these extra environmentally friendly things they put on your car make it more expensive to buy and they just aren't as fun.' - Mr Wright, 33, Accountant.
