On the contrary, Tories' argument seemed far away from the colonists. For example in To the People of Pennsylvania, William Smith or Cato wrote, "We considered our connection with Great Britain as our chief happiness - we flourished, and grew rich and populous."4 This passage appeared to be just a phrase because people can't really feel the "happiness."
